Dean founded Vancouver Rehabilitation in 1984, and later founded Camas Physical Therapy and Salmon Creek Physical Therapy. He was raised in Vancouver and received his physical therapy degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. He and his wife have raised five children in the Vancouver area and they are now happy grandparents. He is very involved in church and civic functions. They have both served on various charitable foundation boards. Dean’s physical therapy practice has always centered around kind, compassionate, patient care. He is well respected in medical circles as evidenced by the success of his practice. Mike grew up in the St. Louis/Chicago areas and attended Northwestern University in Chicago where he earned his P.T. Degree. Other areas of study include psychology at BYU and the University of Utah. Mike’s past 15 years of clinic work have been in the areas of child/adolescent and sports injury rehabilitation. Mike has had great success in working with difficult spinal injuries. He is energetic and loves to help people improve their health and function. Mike is quite active away from the clinic having been married 23 years and has 4 children. His favorite activities involve family, golf, skiing, landscaping and cooking. |

James is another “transplant” to the great Pacific Northwest having grown up in South Dakota. His early education included earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of South Dakota. His studies continued at the Wichita State University in Kansas where he earned his P.T. degree. His previous clinical experience has been in Phoenix Arizona with various out-patient, hospital, and home health work with attention to orthopedic, geriatric, and wound care specialties. He has 19 years of experience in Physical Therapy. James spends his time away from the clinic involved with activities of golf, restoring antique furniture, sci-fi entertainment, and football. |

Julia earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. She has been in practice for 33 years. Julia has done extensive work with patients with spinal cord injuries and stroke and head injuries. She gained experience managing the Occupational Therapy department at Providence Medical Center, where she worked in inpatient acute, inpatient rehabilitation, injured workers program, outpatient rehabilitation, home health and long term care. Julia has been with Vancouver Rehabilitation for over 9 years. She enjoys working with upper extremity rehabilitation and hand therapy with the goal of maximizing function and a return to previous activity level. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to the Northwest after college. She lives in Vancouver with her husband. She enjoys gardening, birdwatching, paddling, playing with clay, reading and making jewelry. |

David has been a physical therapist working in the Vancouver area for over six years. Over that time, he has worked in settings gaining specialization in traumatic injury, sports medicine, and overuse disorders, and this work has included applying these specialties to rehabilitation of work-injured and post-surgical patients. David strives to achieve a balanced therapeutic approach, including appropriate manual therapy applications, correct dosage of movement and therapeutic exercises, and careful listening to the patient’s specific and individual needs in order to develop an accurate and holistic program. David has completed his physical therapy training at a top-10 nationally rated PT program in Houston, Texas in 2001. His continuing education has included further development of his hands-on manual therapy skills. David is the proud father of six children with his wife of 14 years, and has been active in the community most recently in being the assistant coach of a Middle School-division Science Olympiad team, BSA, and being featured in an on-stage Broadway-style musical production |

Natasha was raised here in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Ashmead School of massage in 2003. She specializes in deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage. She is very involved in patient education and assisting them to recover from their injuries. Natasha enjoys outdoor activities, gourmet food, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. |
